Las nominaciones de los Hollywood Critics Association Awards 2021 están aquí y “Dune” encabeza la lista con 10 menciones, seguida de “Belfast” y “CODA”.
La lista, conformada por elecciones de críticos principalmente ubicados en Los Angeles, no tiene ninguna sorpresa, más bien recalca la mentalidad segura y en masa de la crítica estadounidense. Si algo llama la atención es la ausencia de “Don’t Look Up”, “C’Mon C’Mon” y “House of Gucci” en categorías fuertes; ““Licorice Pizza” solo obtuvo Mejor Película.
Como era de esperarse, cintas inteligentes y atrevidas como “The Last Duel” y “Annette” no aparecen por ningún lado, y tampoco hay presencia internacional o documental fuera de sus categorías. Mientras tanto, el deplorable guion de “Last Night in Soho” obtuvo nominación: así el estado de las cosas con la crítica de Estados Unidos.
