Se anunciaron las nominaciones a los Satellite Awards 2021. “Mank” de David Fincher lidera la lista con 11 menciones.
Los Satellite Awards son otorgados por la International Press Academy, una asociación de periodistas de entretenimiento de mercados estadounidenses y foráneos. Aunque los premios no tienen gran incidencia en relación al Oscar, podemos encontrar algunos indicadores de las películas favoritas de la temporada.
Después de “Mank”, las películas más nominadas son “One Night in Miami”, “Nomadland”, “Minari”, “The Trial of the Chicago 7” y “The Father”, lo cual es un buen indicador de la edad de los votantes.
