Se anunció la lista de nominaciones de los Hollywood Critics Association Midseason Awards 2022.
La HCA o Hollywood Critics Association es una asociación de crítica principalmente basada en California, pero que en los últimos años ha comenzado a aceptar a miembros de otros estados. Estos Midseason Awards son reconocimientos a lo mejor del cine en esta primera mitad del 2022.
Aunque estos premios tienen nula relevancia en la venidera temporada de premios 2022-23, son un pequeño indicador de películas y actuaciones que han sido bien recibidas por la crítica estadounidense. Con una buena estrategia de marketing, algunas de ellas podrían surgir como alternativas o incluso tomar fuerte relevancia en la carrera — “Elvis”, “Top Gun: Maverick” y “Everything Everywhere All At Once” son posibles candidatas a lograrlo.
La película más nominada en estos Hollywood Critics Association Midseason Awards 2022 es “Everything Everywhere All At Once” con ocho menciones; es probable que, cuando comience la temporada en forma, este amor se traduzca en una avalancha de nominaciones para la popular película dirigida por Daniels.
“The Batman” de Matt Reeves obtuvo seis nominaciones, tres de ellas en rubros de actuación; Robert Pattinson se encuentra ausente. Después tenemos a “The Northman” de Robert Eggers, “Top Gun: Maverick” de Joseph Kosinski y “The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent” con cuatro nominaciones cada una.
Algunas agradables inclusiones en la lista son “RRR” y “Marcel The Shell With Shoes On” en Mejor Película, Jenna Ortega (“The Fallout”) en Mejor Actriz y tres nominaciones para el slasher “X”.
